It was the best of times, it was... the bestest of times! I am back from the annual Adobe Community Leader Summit out in San Jose, CA - pictures will be posted soon (and I'll link to some other sets on our facebook account). A splendid time was had by all, although there were some scary moments when it seemed that we might run out of Diet Coke. They did end up exceeding the Diet Coke budget :)

Since I haven't had a chance to update this in a while, I figured that rather than trying to make a whole bunch of little posts, I'd make one post with a bunch of the cool things I've wanted to share lately.

As you may have heard, Adobe has announced the release of Adobe Flex 3 and Adobe AIR 1.0. Now that the cat is out of the bag, this will be the focus of our Feb. 25th special meeting! Adobe is sponsoring this meeting with food, giveaways and a raffle copy of Adobe Flex Professional.

Flex 3 is a feature-packed release, adding new UI components like the advanced datagrid and improved CSS capabilities; powerful tooling additions like refactoring; and extensive testing tools including memory and performance profiling, plus the addition of the automated testing framework to Flex Builder.

Well, MAX is finally over, and so a wrap-up is in order! I'm going to compile a list of other write-ups on the conference as well so that you have better info than just my groggy summation.

The Learning Resources team at Adobe is looking for participants to help
us understand how you use help features within Dreamweaver (CS3), Flash
(CS3), Photoshop (CS3), and Photoshop Elements (4.0 for Mac and 5.0 for
PC).
